Growing Engineers Monetary Support

The 70th Aniversary Celebrations of College of Engineering, Trivandrum, inspired CETAA to build a corpus scholarship fund of Rs.10Million towards Growing Engineers Monetary Support (GEMS). This corpus fund will enable us to help "One hundred" promissing but economically challenged students, every year. Click here for more information.

Membership

All alumni of CET graduated till the year 2000, will hereafter be enrolled as CETAA Members by waiving off the membership fees. This decision is made in the wake of the 70th anniversary celebrations of the college. CETAA requests all alumni to register through this site.

About CETAA

CETAA was formed in 1976 with the aim of establishing rapport with former students and to have common programmes which will be mutually beneficial. Now around 3700 of our former students are life members of the association.

The alumni who come under the banner of CETAA have established themselves worldwide. Now, CETAA have chapters at Chicago, Dubai, Kuwait and Kochi.

Instituting awards and scholarships to reward excellence in curricular and extra curricular activities has been one of the major activities of CETAA. Prizes and awards are annually distributed in the prestigious award ceremony along with the annual CETAA day celebration. As on date, there are 42 awards & endowments instituted by CETAA members in the names of former professors and colleagues. In addition, CETAA also have certain funds for helping poor students in their studies. CETAA has taken initiative to set up a fund for the infrastructure development and other activities at our Alma Mater.

Publication of news letters, members directories are the other activities of CETAA.

Dr. Sam Chandran (Former principal CET), Prof. Binu Mangal (,JD Tech Edn) and Mr. Jaya Chandran handover a cheque for Rs1.15L to Principal CET for Landscaping-Fund-CETAA, on behalf of 1973 Batch. This takes their contribution to Rs 3.15L
